Privacy policy

Dnevnik prehrane is a private food diary app. This page explains briefly what data it stores and what happens to it.

What is stored

What it's for

Only to make the app work: so you can see your entries, reports and reminders. Food and wellbeing notes may count as health data, so the app asks for your consent the first time you open it. You can withdraw it at any time by deleting your account.

Where it is

In a private database in the EU, hosted by Supabase. You reach your data with your own sign-in, and photos aren't public. The host may keep technical logs for a short time for operation and security, such as IP addresses.

Who has access

Your data isn't sold and isn't used for advertising. The app has no analytics or tracking. Only the service providers the app can't run without have access, for example for hosting, sign-in email and notifications, and only as far as they need it. The app's administrator has technical access to the database and uses it only when that's necessary for operation or security.

Ask Claude

The app itself sends nothing to any AI service. When you press "Vprašaj Claude" (Ask Claude), the photo and meal description go through your phone's share menu to the Claude app on your phone, under your own account. Anthropic's terms and privacy policy apply to that.

How long it's kept

For as long as you have an account. Deleted entries are removed for good after 30 days. When you delete your account, all your data and photos are removed straight away.

Your rights

In the app you can correct or export your data at any time (Excel, JSON and photos), or delete all of it along with your account. Under the General Data Protection Regulation you also have other rights, including the right to complain to a supervisory authority. In Slovenia, that's the Information Commissioner.

This website

This site uses no cookies, analytics or external fonts. The host may process technical details of a visit for operation and security, such as your IP address.

Changes and questions

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page. For questions about your data, contact the person who gave you access to the app.
